在殘疾人合唱團《我和我的祖國》的深情歌聲中，8位中國殘疾人運動員和為殘疾人事業作出貢獻的人士代表，護衛著五星紅旗來到體育場升旗區。20時08分，在雄壯的中華人民共和國國歌聲中，五星紅旗冉冉升起。

In the affectionate song of the disabled chorus "I and my motherland", eight Chinese disabled athletes and representatives of people who have made contributions to the cause of the disabled escorted the five-star red flag to the flag raising area of the stadium. At 20:08, the five-star red flag rose slowly in the majestic sound of the National Anthem of the people's Republic of China.

4個憨態可掬的北京冬殘奧會吉祥物“雪容融”滑入場地中央，運動員入場式開始。來自世界各地的冬殘奧運動員代表們精神抖擻地進入體育場。現場觀眾用熱情的掌聲和歡呼聲，向他們表示歡迎和敬意。本屆冬殘奧會共有來自46個國家（地區）的代表團參加。未來9天里，近600名殘疾人運動員將參加6個大項的比賽。

The 4 Shuey Rhon Rhon of Beijing Winter Paralympics, which is a naive and charming winter sports, slid into the center of the stadium. The Paralympic Winter Games from all over the world mobilized the delegates to enter the stadium in high spirits. The audience welcomed and paid tribute to them with warm applause and cheers. Delegations from 46 countries (regions) participated in the winter Paralympic Games. In the next nine days, nearly 600 disabled athletes will participate in six major events.

伴著《歌唱祖國》的旋律，東道主中國代表團最后入場。殘奧越野滑雪和冬季兩項運動員郭雨潔、殘奧冰球運動員汪之棟持鮮艷的五星紅旗，行進在隊伍最前列。本屆冬殘奧會中國代表團共217人，其中運動員96人，將參加全部6個大項、73個小項的角逐。這是我國參加冬殘奧會以來，代表團規模最大、運動員人數最多、參賽項目最全的一屆。
