國家體育場華燈璀璨，流光溢彩。19時(shí)57分，北京冬殘奧會(huì)會(huì)徽呈現(xiàn)在體育場中央巨幅地屏上。在《和平——命運(yùn)共同體》的樂曲聲中，習(xí)近平和夫人彭麗媛同帕森斯等走上主席臺(tái)，向觀眾揮手致意。全場響起長時(shí)間的熱烈掌聲和歡呼聲。

場地中央，燦爛的星海中，浮現(xiàn)過往12屆冬殘奧會(huì)舉辦城市名稱，最終定格在“2022北京”。代表冬殘奧會(huì)六大競賽項(xiàng)目的運(yùn)動(dòng)員們從一條雪道疾馳而下，滑入場內(nèi)。場地中央出現(xiàn)一條冰壺賽道，隨著冰壺滑出，倒計(jì)時(shí)數(shù)字在場地內(nèi)閃現(xiàn)：10、9、8、7、6、5、4、3、2、1……全場歡呼。
