1997年12月2日，蘇帕潘出生于老撾首都萬象。萬象被很多老撾人理解為“月城”；但是萬象在老撾語中還有一個意思是檀木，中國古書中漢譯為“栴檀”，因此也可翻譯為“垣栴”，及檀城。
On December 2, 1997, supapan was born in Vientiane, the capital of Laos. Vientiane is understood by many Laotians as "Yuecheng"; however, Vientiane also means sandalwood in Lao language. In ancient Chinese books, Vientiane is translated into "LuoTan", so it can also be translated into "Yuanmo" and Tancheng.
